On 5 January 2026, a representative of Pavlohrad territorial community completed practical training in the GIS module for managing seasonal trading locations. The session was delivered by a GIS specialist from MagneticOne Municipal Technologies.

Purpose of the module: give authorised municipal staff one map-based environment for administering trading places, bookings, payments, and rental statuses.

What the training covered

The participant worked directly with the main functions of the system and learned how operational changes are reflected on the administrative map.

  • automatic updates of information displayed on the map;
  • changing the status of available and booked trading slots;
  • showing or hiding seasonal and holiday trading areas;
  • using filters and the administrative map;
  • checking booking, payment, and rental information.

A clearer process for entrepreneurs and municipal staff

The participants also discussed practical instructions for entrepreneurs who will submit applications to reserve trading locations through the community’s official website. Clear guidance and visible statuses reduce unnecessary enquiries and make the process easier to understand.

For the local authority, a digital workflow creates a more transparent record of available places and applications while reducing repeated work across separate tables and documents.
