On 12 November 2025, MagneticOne Municipal Technologies delivered another training session for Halych territorial community on the municipal Urban Planning Cadastre Geoportal. Participants received practical guidance on the platform’s basic navigation, layers, and user tools.
Functions demonstrated during training
- zooming, previous and next map views, compass, and map orientation;
- viewing available information layers;
- opening the user guide and developer contact information;
- creating personal bookmarks for selected territories and planning documents;
- searching for settlements and addresses;
- switching between orthophotos, OpenStreetMap, and other base maps.
System bookmarks for settlements are protected from accidental deletion, while users can create their own working bookmarks.
Next stage of adoption
Key community data had already been added to the platform. Further sessions were planned to cover administrative functions and the creation of new information layers according to municipal needs.
Step-by-step training helps specialists use the geoportal as a daily working tool rather than only as a public map.
