On 12 December 2025, the results of a comprehensive land-resource audit were presented online to Netishyn urban territorial community in Khmelnytskyi region. The study analysed actual land use, identified inconsistencies requiring attention, and assessed potential reserves for local-budget revenue.
Issues reviewed during the project
- use and management of state and municipal land;
- land use without fully documented rights;
- possible unauthorised occupation of parcels;
- use that may not correspond to the registered designated purpose;
- the need to inventory or update parcel information.
The results help prioritise further verification and management work. Any formal conclusion about a specific parcel must still rely on current official records and the applicable legal procedure.
Information sources
The project used legally accessible data from the State Land Cadastre, the State Register of Property Rights, relevant tax information, cadastral-map resources, valuation materials, court decisions, and satellite imagery from different seasons.
High-resolution aerial survey materials and local maps were additionally used where appropriate to locate parcels or actual land use not represented clearly in available digital records. The currency of all information depends on the update cycle of the source registers.
From findings to daily management
Audit results can be organised in GIS as map layers, object cards, working statuses, and analytical selections. This helps municipal staff track verification, prepare documents, and provide management with a consistent picture of the community’s land portfolio.
