On 23 December 2025, an online presentation introduced a GIS-based Address Register for Makariv settlement territorial community in Kyiv region. The tool is designed to organise and verify local address data and support preparation for Ukraine’s Unified State Address Register.
Data brought together on one map
The register was populated using the community’s available general plans, detailed plans, urban planning documentation, orthophotos, land-cadastre information, and satellite imagery. Comparing these sources in one environment helped identify and resolve discrepancies before submission to the state system.
This approach is particularly important where historic records, planning materials, and actual building locations do not fully match.
Daily work with address information
Authorised municipal staff and local representatives can edit working address data online, confirm building numbering, and immediately see the result on the map. After individual settlements have been reviewed, the system supports the preparation of exchange files for subsequent upload.
- consistent records for settlements, streets, and buildings;
- visual detection of missing or duplicate information;
- controlled correction and verification;
- a structured basis for future updates;
- faster preparation of address data for digital services.
Does your community need to organise address data?
We can assess the available records and map materials and outline the stages required to prepare verified exchange files.
