Aerophoto shoot is one of the most productive methods of collecting spatial information, the basis for creating topographical plans and maps, construction of three-dimensional models of the land and location. Aerophoto shoot allows you to obtain static images of a large segment of the surface of the earth in the form of an aerial photo. That is why it is irreplaceable during geographic and hydrographic exploration, land and forestry works, construction and agriculture. If traditional mapping photo shoot creates an image of the land gradually (“from point to the point”), the aerial photo shoot uses aerial images that are fully automated.


Stages and results of the aero photo shoot

Aerophoto shoot includes aero photo shooting, photo laboratory periods and field photogrammetric work. In order to get a complete photo image of a plot of land, the aero photo shoot is performed on straight-line parallel routes with partial overlapping neighboring aerial photos of one route (longitudinal overlap) or adjacent routes (transverse overlap), which allows determining spatial coordinates of the land points.

  • topographic maps and plans in scale from 1:500 to 1:5000;
  • digital relief models with an accuracy of up to 0.5 m;
